The Linden Method – What Is It ?
The Linden Method was developed by Charles Linden who himself suffered from anxiety, panic attacks, OCD and agoraphobia for more than 24 years. He now leads a normal, healthy life as CEO of a company devoted to helping people who suffer these same conditions.
The Linden Method has featured in many magazines, TV shows, Radio shows and newspapers. It has been around for many years and is recognized in the Medical Industry with many therapists referring their patients to the treatment. It has a success rate of over 96%, which is amazing.
Most treatments today focus on managing the symptoms rather than curing the condition. The Linden Method is all about curing the condition by tackling the problem at the source which is the part of the brain known as the amygdala (the anxiety control center).
In the presence of a threat, the amygdala signals the brain to respond accordingly creating anxiety, which is an important function that has evolved in humans to protect us from harm.
People that suffer from panic attacks or high anxiety for example have these signals going to the brain even when there is no threat. The Linden method claims to be able to re-program that part of the brain to its pre high anxiety state.
